Please review or become familiar with the following document which explains how to use the LDS Home-Ed Email Group.

You have been added to the LDSHomeEd database. To send an email to the entire list, please address it to LDSHomeEd@ONEList.com. When you do, please send some personal information such as your home state or country, a little about your family and whatever else you think might be interesting for us to know about you.

Since we have no special software to add and modify the user list, I do it manually. This limits the power of the email list. When you get email messages from the list, you can use the REPLY TO feature of your email software, but make sure you change the To: address to LDSHomeEd@eGroups.com from the user to whom you are replying (unless you only wish to reply to the original sender, which is okay, too). This way you will send email to everyone on the list which is generally the intent of this group unless the email is of a personal nature between you and the sender. Please put the word LDSHomeEd on the subject line so those who are members of other groups know from whence your email comes and to whom it is intended. You might wish to abbreviate it to something like HEs. Another caution: Please don't send emails to multiple email groups especially when replying. This becomes very confusing to those on the other groups who will not have seen the original email to which you are responding.

Welcome to LDSHomeEd. Please email the whole list with an introduction to them of you as a new member. If you come to a point where you wish to go nomail for a time, and can't get it done at emailgroups.ourldsfamily.com, please let me (karlp@ourldsfamily.com) or Betty (betty@ourldsfamily.com) know and we'll see what we can do for you. Of course, it's easier for us and better for you if you learn how to do it at eGroups.
